A Change of Scenery: Richard Erdman Welcomed at New Brintz Gallery Location
In recent months, two of Richard’s marble works have found a new home: Fiamme and Muse Lu are now soaking up the sun at the newly opened second location of Palm Beach’s Brintz Gallery. This satellite on County Road is just a few blocks away from gallerist Lisa Brintz's flagship, nestled in the beach town’s historic Worth Avenue.
A new venue is cause for celebration, of course — the reason behind it, perhaps less so. When Brintz first opened its doors at its original Worth Avenue location in 2014, very few could have guessed that 2017 would usher in a President Donald Trump — or that Mar-a-Lago-bound presidential motorcades would cause major congestion and frustration for Worth Avenue shops, galleries, and restaurants.
Clearly, and thankfully, Brintz is adaptable. So while we may not love the reason behind it, we're grateful that Fiamme and Muse Lu, both made of white Carrara Marble and part of Richard's evolving Serie Bianca series, can be enjoyed in a gorgeous new space — and off the beaten path, so to speak.
