Richard Erdman Studios travels West!

Richard Erdman Studios’ Director Abbey Meaker and Assistant Director Audra Gonyea have just returned from an exciting trip to California to visit Melissa Morgan Fine Art, where Richard Erdman’s new body of white Carrara marble sculptures are currently on view. After a long winter in Vermont, a trip to the warm light of southern California provided a welcome reprieve. We visited the inspiring Joshua Tree National Park, where the desert has come alive with breathtaking blooms from the much needed rain received earlier this year. Much like the life that Richard brings to stone, the rain has energized the long dormant desert seeds, changing the expansive desert landscape with pops of vibrant color.

We ended our journey in Los Angeles with our friends at arts magazine AUTRE, who have just published their first glossy issue, before returning to Vermont to find spring.
