In the depths of the Vermont winter, Richard's monumental bronze Toulouse caught a new eye: the major work has been purchased from the West Branch Gallery & Sculpture Park in Stowe by a private collector in Germany.

Before its trans-Atlantic voyage and final installation in Marburg, Germany, Toulouse traveled to New York where the experts at Polich Tallix Fine Art Foundry perfected its bronze surfaces to their most deeply alluring. The team attended to Toulouse with flame and cupric nitrate, enhancing the natural potential of the metal with a richly textured green-hued patina.
